Saga’s latest Mystery Cruise on Saga Sapphire announced where only the crew know the destination

There’s nothing like cruise holidays for a bit of adventure and exploration in plenty of fascinating spots – but what if you had no idea where you were going?

Well that’s exactly what Saga is offering the 720 passengers who’ll be taking on its latest Mystery Cruise , where only the crew will know where the ship is headed.

Guests will eventually discover the destination; but only once the ship is berthed.

Not to mention it’ll be on board the luxurious Saga Sapphire , ahead of her final cruise season in 2020 .

Feeling tempted?

Prices start from £3,091pp for 21 nights departing from Southampton on 27th November (based on two people sharing a twin cabin).

The price includes an all-inclusive drinks package, tours, entertainment from an array of mystery celebrity guests and even a VIP chauffeur service to and from the port, as well as travel insurance.

Food and drinks will be included

Captain Stuart Horne has promised to “keep everyone guessing as long as possible. Perhaps I’ll head down an estuary towards a port, then simply turn around and go in another direction – that’ll bamboozle them”.

He added: “I’ll only tell my navigation team and engineers as much as they need to know for route planning and fuel management.

“After all, the more people in on it, the greater the risk that someone will let slip the next destination and spoil the fun.”

The only details that have been disclosed is the appearance of the Syd Lawrence Orchestra who will entertain travellers on six nights, but we’d take this as a good sign of things to come.

This voyage will also be Saga Sapphire’s last mystery cruise, so you’ll need to book yours quick if you want to be a part of the action. You can find out more information and book your ticket here.
